Elizabeth Green serves as our experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly Concierge team member at The Chateaux Deer Valley. She comes to us with a broad array of experience from working as a flight attendant to managing a well-known retail store to owning her own restaurant -- all work experiences centered around the customer or guest. After spending her recent years raising her two boys in Park City, she decided to enter back into the workforce and wanted to do something that would allow her to work with guests and tourists visiting the area.Elizabeth was raised in Montana and is one of six kids. She attended the University of Montana where she graduated with a Political Science degree. She also studied law and international business as those were passionate interests of hers, and she is conversationally fluent in both Spanish and French. After graduating from college, Elizabeth followed her passion for travel and became a flight attendant for TWA where she was based out of St. Louis, then Los Angeles. From there, she moved with a friend to Salt Lake City and became a manager for the local Williams Sonoma store. After moving to Utah, Elizabeth met her now husband and they decided to open an American 50s drive-thru restaurant in Layton. Several years later, they sold their restaurant space to the well-known Maddox Chicken restaurant and they moved to Park City with their children.
As a rural Montana native, Elizabeth appreciates the quaint mountain town vibe of Park City. She loved raising her two kids here and now loves working in the local community. She learned about The Chateaux from her son and decided to come up for a visit and learn more about our property. She joined our team in November last year and has been our full-time Concierge ever since. With her vivacious personality and warm smile, she greets our guests and offers suggestions for local eateries, daytime activities, and the best spots for nightlife. When we asked Elizabeth what she likes most about her role at The Chateaux, she replied:
“I love planning and arranging things, and I really enjoy making each guest’s stay special for them. I love meeting new people and making them feel welcome here.”
Elizabeth handles the Concierge position well, even during peak times such as arrival times or when large families or groups are needing her assistance. We asked if there is something she would like our guests to know in advance of their arrival to Park City and she commented:
“I would love to help guests know more about our location before they arrive. That way I can make better and more tailored recommendations ahead of time to help make their stay even better.”
When not greeting guests and answering questions, Elizabeth likes to spend her free time in the outdoors, mostly skiing in the winter, hiking and boating in the summer, and she is a regular at her local pilates and other studio fitness classes all year long. She loves trying new activities in Park City so that she can help recommend those to guests. Next on her list to try is stand up paddle boarding. Be sure to ask her about it when you call or see her next!
Elizabeth is available at the Concierge desk in the lobby of The Chateaux most days of the week from 9 am to 5 pm, or she can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (435) 658-9518. Give her a call today. She is looking forward to helping you plan your best Park City vacation.
