Still scrambling to throw together your last minute Halloween plans? This blog is for you! Unlike more traditional holidays spent with family, this spooky celebration has a tendency to sneak up on you. Boo! We put together a list of frights and delights just in time to join in the festivities tomorrow!
Howl-O-Ween! On Historic Main Street
Travel and Leisure named this colorful pet parade one of the top Halloween celebrations in the country. This one of a kind jubilee is free for all to attend (with or without a furry friend to dress up). Wander along Historic Main Street, and marvel at the elaborate, intricate costumes adorned by literally thousands of enthusiastic attendees. This lively spectacle is certainly a unique and fascinating experience.
Carve Yourself a Jack-o'-lantern
Sadly, we’ve all had to accept that our trick-or-treating days are behind us. However, pumpkin carving is a timeless delight for the ages! We recommend heading over to Park City Nursery to select your pumpkin from their charming pumpkin patch. If you dare, venture into their Haunted Forest for some more spooky fun.
Dinner and a Scary Movie
Our sister property, Stein Eriksen Lodge, welcomes everyone to attend their Halloween-themed dinner and a movie night. Start your evening with a fine dining experience at the award-winning Glitretind restaurant. Then, walk over to the brand new in-house Freestyle Theater for a screening of the 1978 classic, Halloween! For more details, visit the Facebook event here.
Now get out there and partake in the Halloween fun!
