Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter
Less than 10 miles from our hotel, you’ll find 1,200 acres of gorgeous wildlife preserve with 10,000 square feet of museum space providing an educational lineup including nature tours, wildlife viewing, an evening lecture series, and environmental programs for both kids and adults. They also feature a pretty cool gift shop showcasing local, eco-friendly art. It’s a great way to experience the incredible beauty of this area in the spring!
Swimming and Hot Tubbing
It’s never the wrong time to enjoy fun in the pool with the kids! Our heated outdoor pool and hot tubs make swim fun inviting all year long, and are located through our beautiful open courtyard. Open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm daily, it’s a great way to start or end your day – or to enjoy a full day hopping back and forth!
Historic Main Street
Just taking a walk along the main street of the “Old Town” offers sweeping mountain views and historic buildings and homes galore dating back to the early 1900s mining boom. Scattered along the way you’ll find numerous art galleries, boutique shops, and impressive restaurants. From souvenir shopping to nightlife and theatres, there’s something for everyone in the family here!
Park City Museum
Exploring the fascinating history of this mining town turned ski town, the museum features an interactive pictorial of Park City's colorful history. Take a five-minute tour of the exhibits, or explore on your own. The kids will love completing in the Park City History Detectives activity, which guides them through all of the exhibits while offering the whole family a glimpse into Park City’s storied past.
Utah Olympic Park
Explore the historic site of the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games and find captivating memorabilia and museum displays along with unique activities. Full guided tours are available, and if you make it before March 31st, you’ll still have time to enjoy the Winter Bobsled Olympic Experience. For the kids (and adults with some weight restrictions), the Discovery Course was created to challenge the youngest visitors as they duck, crawl, and climb through a sequence designed for smaller folks. The Canyon Course offers an intermediate-level version that tests the whole family’s abilities with swinging features, log traverses, and problem-solving elements. You’ll be at heights of up to 25 feet in the air relying on your own balance, agility, and coordination. For real thrill-seekers, the Summit Course offers advanced-level adventures at up to 55 feet in the air. Truly something to suit everyone can be found here!
