1. Is The Chateaux Deer Valley a ski-in/ski-out property?
​The Chateaux Deer Valley is not a direct ski-in/ski-out property. However, easy access to Deer Valley Resort is just across Silver Lake Plaza, approximately 100 yards from Sterling Lift.

2. Is there parking at The Chateaux Deer Valley?
​Guests are welcome to self-park in the on-site heated, secured garage facility.

3. Does The Chateaux Deer Valley have a breakfast option available to guests?
Yes, The Chateaux Deer Valley provides a delicious family-style breakfast option for two that is included with all leisure overnight stays.

​4. How far is the Deer Valley Ski School?
Deer Valley Ski School is located at Snow Park Lodge, which is just a 10-minute ride in our complimentary shuttle. Or, guests can ski down to Snow Park Lodge from Silver Lake Lodge at Deer Valley Resort, which is located directly across from the property. It is strongly encouraged that all guests interested in ski school plan ahead and book in advance. 

5. How far away is Salt Lake City International Airport from The Chateaux Deer Valley?
Salt Lake City International Airport is an easy 45-minute ride from The Chateaux Deer Valley. Guests can arrange a variety of transportation options to and from the airport with the help of our Concierge team, including options like a shared van service, private car, taxi, Lyft, or Uber.

6. What is the deposit/cancellation policy?


Winter Season: A one-night deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance of the reservation is due 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable at that time. Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival incur no penalty. Cancellations and modifications made within 30 days of arrival forfeit 100% of the room and tax amount.

​Spring/Summer/Fall Seasons: A one night deposit is due at the time of booking. Any cancellation made at least 7 days prior to arrival will have no penalty. Any reservation cancellation or modification within 7 days of arrival will forfeit the one night deposit.

7. Is there ski and bike storage for guests?
Yes, The Chateaux Deer Valley provides overnight lodging guests with complimentary usage of the secured ski and bike storage room.

8. Is there a fitness center?
Our fitness center is currently under renovation. We are excited to introduce our new and improved fitness center in November 2021.

9. Does The Chateaux Deer Valley charge for a rollaway bed?
Yes, The Chateaux Deer Valley charges $35 + tax per night for guests to use a rollaway bed. Rollaway beds can be requested at time of booking, or any time prior to and upon arrival to the property. Advance notice is preferred.

10. What is the opening date for Deer Valley Resort?
Winter Season Dates: December 4, 2021 - April 10, 2022 (weather and conditions permitting).
Summer Season Dates: June 18 - September 6, daily, then weekends only through September 26, 2021.


11. What activities are there outside of skiing?
The Chateaux, the Deer Valley area, and Park City offer a myriad of activities outside of skiing during every season. For the winter months, guests can participate in such activities as ice skating, snowmobiling, dog sledding, sleigh rides, and snowshoeing. For additional activities, click here. During the warmer spring, summer, and fall months, guests have the options to go hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fly fishing, play golf, ride in a hot air balloon, visit Utah’s Olympic Park, and much more.


12. How far is Main Street from The Chateaux Deer Valley?
Park City’s Historic Main Street is a short five-minute ride from The Chateaux Deer Valley. For guests, The Chateaux provides a complimentary shuttle that runs every 30 minutes from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm each day of the week. Outside of those shuttle operational hours, guests can easily get a taxi, bus, Uber, or Lyft ride to and from the property.
